Inc. (SeBS) was founded and incorporated in 2000 with the vision of providing consulting services
that focuses upon
enhancing the way Government does business through the improvement of process, technology and people.
In 2004 we expanded our services and goals to focus on business
transformation and assisting business in optimizing current operational processes to improve both customers
experience and operational effectiveness across all processes.
In 2005 we obtained our 8(a) small disadvantaged business certification. Over
the last few years we have been awarded IDIQ's as a subcontractor across all of
the DoD services and in 2007 was awarded a Prime contract with the Navy under
Seaport-e.
SeBS, Inc. is a minority, veteran owned and operated
Small Business Administration 8a certified small business. We deliver innovative solutions to business challenges that impede
performance.

Management Team 
Howard Folkes l President and CEO
Howard Folkes joined Strategic e-Business Solutions, Inc.
in July 2004 as President and CEO. He is an internationally known leader in
Strategic Business Transformation. His
work experience includes strategically assessing enterprise performance for more
than 20 years with the US Navy, the Federal government, and IBM Federal
Government consulting. He has successfully directed numerous consulting
engagements throughout the Federal government. He specializes in strategy,
implementation, and assessment for business transformation using the latest
methodologies.
Howard is a thought leader with in-depth experienced in all
phases of the Federal IT Capital Planning Process and Federal Enterprise
Architecture Frameworks. He has supported a Federal CIO Council and
successfully directed e-Management System engagements to develop strategic and
operational performance models. His expertise includes the development of
Corporate Balance Scorecards, Federal client’s e-Business Strategy, BPR,
Organization Design, IT Assessment and Knowledge and Content Management.
He has led international consulting engagements to assist customers with ISO
9001:2000 certification, and has developed performance metrics across various
industries. He possesses unsurpassed skilled at applying the Balanced
Scorecard principles and methodology on major business and IT improvement
projects in the Federal government
Howard was the 2003 recipient of the IBM President’s
Award for “Outstanding Leadership and Business Contributions to the Strategy
and Change Consulting Practice”. He also received the Navy Commendation Medal
in 2003. He serves in the US Navy reserve as a Senior Naval Officer appointed to
the Air Systems Program Flag Advisory Panel. In this position he was the Key
speaker at the Naval Aviation Industrial Executive Board. He has also developed
e-Leadership Seminar series to encourage “mind-share” between the government
and private sector.
Howard holds a MPA in Information Systems Management from Columbia University; a
B.S. in Business Administration from State University of New York; and attended
Harvard University, JFK School of Government, Senior Executive Institute.
John Misiag l (Founder) Chief Operating Officer
John Misiag founded SeBS,
Inc. in 2000. Through his professional and consulting experience, he realized
a need for managers to have access to the
innovative strategies that are transforming the business
world and allowing companies to be more competitive
and provide better service to their customers. His vision
was to create an offering of customer service consulting differentiated by delivery through an
experienced professionals. As the founder, he listens to the needs of the
customers and works with Howard to develop and drive corporate strategy, managing overall service delivery,
partner relations and administration.
John has over 20 years experience in the health care, IT,
government, call center and
customer service industry. He has guided both corporate and government
call center strategy and implementation projects. This work enabled his clients to strategically
re-position their call centers as robust customer access
centers. By using industry Best Practices as a benchmark
these organizations learned to conduct business in a customer
centric manner with increases in satisfaction and customer
loyalty.
John taught Business Decision Making for IT Managers
at Johns Hopkins Business School. He was Education Chairman
for the American Teleservices Association (ATA) Potomac
Chapter, and is certified by Purdue University as a Call
Center Auditor. He has presented on the topic of Best Practices
in Outsourcing Contact Center operations, as well as national
presentations on Improving Customer Service and eCustomer
Care and Web-Enabling Agents in this rapidly changing environment.
John holds a M.B.A. and a M.S. in Information Systems Management from Johns
Hopkins University; a
B.S. in Electric Engineering and a B.S. in Computer Engineering from Washington University
in Saint Louis; and a B.S. in Math and Computer Science from Randolph-Macon
College.
